Brassac [bʁa.sak] (in Occitan Braçac [bra.'sak]) is a French commune situated at the gateway to the Sidobre in the south-east of the département of Tarn in the région of Occitanie. From a historical and cultural standpoint, the commune lies within the Sidobre, a granite territory covered with forests, to the east of Castres. Exposed to a modified oceanic climate, it is drained by the Agout, a branch of the Agout, the ruisseau du Terral and various other small watercourses.
