Alby-sur-Chéran, formerly Alby, is a French commune situated in the département of Haute-Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The commune was the chief town of the communauté de communes du Pays d'Alby, replaced by Grand Annecy on 1 January 2017. It is situated in the Albanais, on the banks of the Chéran, in the canton of Rumilly, to the north-west of the Parc Naturel Régional du massif des Bauges, of which it has formed part since late 2017.
