A little history
During Antiquity (the Iron Age), the agglomeration of Isodorum, just like the neighbouring town of Moulins, was part of the territory of the Gaulish people of the Éduens. A list of names in the Gaulish language engraved on a vase discovered at the beginning of the 20th century made it possible to find names in the Gaulish language, ATIPASTU, ADAXILU, ABINOS, ATONILLOS, ASSULATOS, ANDROULOS, ATIASSU. The site of Saint-Bonnet at Yzeure was for a long time known only through an excavation covering a few tens of square metres. In 1827, pottery workshops were discovered at Saint-Bonnet.
