Saint-Pierre-dels-Forcats (in Catalan Sant Pere dels Forcats) is a French commune situated in the south-west of the département of Pyrénées-Orientales in the région of Occitanie. Its inhabitants are called the Pereforcatins. From a historical and cultural standpoint, the commune lies within the Cerdagne, a high plain at a mean altitude of 1,200 m, which stretches from east to west over some forty kilometres between Mont-Louis and Bourg-Madame.
