A little history
It is doubtless to the Celts that Saint Étienne owes its name of « Mont-Luc ». During the Gallo-Roman period, a very important network of Roman roads was created. It is partly used today, along long stretches of the GR3. The parish of Saint Étienne appears for the first time in parchments only in 1063.
