Pieusse is a French commune, situated in the west of the département of Aude in the Occitanie region. From a historical and cultural standpoint, the commune forms part of the Razès, a historically far-reaching pays, which today is limited to the hills of the Malepère and the lower Razès in the centre and south, bounded by the pays de Sault. Exposed to a Mediterranean climate, it is drained by the Aude, the Sou, the ruisseau de Bouziers and various other small watercourses.
