La Livinière (La Livinièra en occitan) est une commune française située dans le sud-ouest du département de l'Hérault, en région Occitanie. Exposée à un climat méditerranéen, elle est drainée par la Cesse, l'Ognon, le ruisseau de Canet, l'Aiguille, le Bragoul, l'Androgoul ou ruisseau de Camplong qui se prolonge en traversant Siran, le ruisseau de la Valette et par divers autres petits cours d'eau dont le ruisseau des Mourgues qui donne au village une signification historique et humaine incontournable au delà de sa seule réalité matérielle. Le tout petit ruisseau de CercIas présente quant à lui une valeur de véritable source documentaire.
