Graissessac [gʁɛ.sə.sak] (in Occitan Graisseçac [graj.se.'sak]) is a French commune situated in the west of the département of Hérault in the Occitanie region. Exposed to a Mediterranean climate, it is drained by the Clédou, the ruisseau d'Espaze and by two other watercourses. Included in the parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, the commune possesses a remarkable natural heritage, a Natura 2000 site (the crêtes du Mont Marcou et des Monts de Mare) and two natural zones of ecological, faunal and floral interest.
