Faugères [fo.gɛ.ʁə], en occitan probablement Falhièiras [fa.ʎiɛj.rɔs] (écrit cependant Faugièiras aux entrées de l'agglomération), est une commune française située dans le centre du département de l'Hérault, en région Occitanie. Exposée à un climat méditerranéen, elle est drainée par le Libron, le ruisseau des Arénasses et par divers autres petits cours d'eau. Incluse dans le parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc, la commune possède un patrimoine naturel remarquable composé d'une zone naturelle d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique.
