A little history

Human settlement on the territory of the commune or its surroundings is attested by various objects from the Neolithic period and the period that followed. The principal village of the commune developed close to the Celtic route linking the lower valley of the Arve to the Chablais. The site may have served as a staging post between the stations of Annemasse and Thonon. Numerous traces attest to a settlement during the Gallo-Roman period.

Selling in Bons-en-Chablais

Pricing in Bons-en-Chablais starts by placing your property inside the €3,207 to €4,591 band rather than on the median alone. The median describes the middle of the market; condition, floor, outdoor space and energy rating decide where in the band you sit.

With 67 sales a year, Bons-en-Chablais is regular without being deep. Positioning matters more here than in a dense market, because a buyer who steps back is not immediately replaced.

Briveo values your Bons-en-Chablais property from the same DVF file, keeping only sales of comparable properties closest to your address, free of charge and with no obligation, then supports the sale through to the deed.

Buying in Bons-en-Chablais

Reading the €3,207 to €4,591 band is a buyer’s main tool in Bons-en-Chablais. A property at the bottom is not a bargain and one at the top is not a rip-off, the band measures how different the properties are, not how well they are priced.

A stable market usually means a negotiation decided by the property itself rather than by any general trend.

Acquisition costs are budgeted on top of the price, around 8 % on an existing property, around 3 % on a new one. These are orders of magnitude; the notary computes the exact amount.
