Vivy is a French commune situated in the département of Maine-et-Loire, in the région of Pays de la Loire.
A little history
The village grew until the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century on the site of the Vieux-Vivy, close to the Authion. The commune transferred the town hall in 1832 to the hamlet of the Deux-Sœurs (named after the sign of a hotel founded in 1793), on the edge of the national road Angers/Tours. A new village then developed there. The new church was built in 1843, in the neo-Romanesque style with a simple nave and chapel.
