A little history
In April 2008, during an archaeological survey carried out ahead of the construction of the Saint-Brieuc bypass, an important Gallo-Roman site was discovered to the south of Trégueux. It was excavated from June 2009 to March 2010, over a distance of more than one kilometre, by a Franco-British team from the English company Oxford Archeology. The site of La Porte Allain, located at the north-western tip of the Coriosolite territory, yielded in particular a collection of everyday wooden objects (mortar and pestle, buckets, cups...). Traces of habitation and activities came to light.
