A little history
The numerous megaliths in the region bear witness to its ancient past, not to mention the flints, axes and polished stones belonging to prehistoric ages. The numerous rivers and alluvial gold in the Massif armoricain explain the presence and the wealth of development of prehistoric populations. Near Lannion, the tumulus de la Motta contains jewellery made of precious metal. In April 2014, archaeologists from the Inrap carried out excavations on the site of Kervouric, prior to the construction of housing.
