A little history
In 1875 the railway arrived in Saint-Pol. The gare de Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise lies on the lines from Arras to Saint-Pol, from Saint-Pol to Étaples and from Fives to Abbeville. During the First World War, Saint-Pol, situated behind the front, took in military hospitals. A military canteen was installed at the gare de Saint-Pol.
