A little history

Paul du Châtellier recorded at Plozévet between 1882 and 1888 four menhirs (the menhir de Kervinou, 1.5 metres tall, stands in the middle of a field but is visible from the road from Menez Queldrec to Menez Kerlaeron, the split menhir, also known as the two twins, the squat menhir, the menhir de Lestrouguy), three allées couvertes (including that of Penker, destroyed during the course of the 20th century), two dolmens, an open-air megalithic chamber, eight tumuli (though many have disappeared since), with 68 objects found there (daggers, an archer's bracer, pottery, vases...), not counting the potsherds.
