A little history
An Iron Age camp is found on the communal territory at Tréambon, along with several megaliths, tumuli and remains of covered walkways, notably that of Roc'h Beg an Eor, situated at the highest point of the commune. Osismian coins were discovered at Creac'h-Madiec. A burial containing a cinerary urn was found in 1912 at Pratinou by a farmer, François Bicrel. In 1878, at Creac'h Madiec in Plonévez-du-Faou, between 12,000 and 15,000 Roman coins, dated to the reigns of Gallien and Aurélien, were discovered.
