Plénée-Jugon [plene ʒygɔ̃] is a French commune situated in the département of Côtes-d'Armor, in the région of Bretagne.
A little history
Excavations carried out on the site of the « Touches » brought to light a funerary complex comprising 13 burials dated between the Bell Beaker culture and the Early Bronze Age. The reformed church of La Moussaye was founded in 1619 by Amaury II Gouyon de La Moussaye. The community numbered around a hundred worshippers, located mainly in Plénée-Jugon and Sévignac. Among them were members of the Gouyon de La Moussaye family and of the Gouyquet du Tertre family, who held possessions in Trédaniel, Plémy and Plœuc. The war memorial bears the names of 219 soldiers who died for their country. 198 died during the First World War.
