A little history
The new commune of Ombrée d'Anjou was created by prefectoral order of 28 October 2016 through the grouping together on 15 December of that same year of the communes of La Chapelle-Hullin, Chazé-Henry, Combrée, Grugé-l'Hôpital, Noëllet, Pouancé, La Prévière, Saint-Michel-et-Chanveaux, Le Tremblay and Vergonnes, which became delegated communes. Its seat is established at Pouancé. For the history prior to 2016, one should refer to the articles dedicated to the former merged communes.
