The église Notre-Dame-des-Neiges is the original church of Louargat, founded by the Hospitaliers de l'ordre de Saint-Jean de Jérusalem. Like the entire parish, Louargat was dependent on the commanderie de Palacret. It is the elemosina de Louargat of the Charte de 1170. The old church being in need of restoration and enlargement, the plans for this work were drawn up in 1858 by M.
