L'Honor-de-Cos est une commune française située dans le département de Tarn-et-Garonne, en région Occitanie. Sur le plan historique et culturel, cette commune fait partie du pays traditionnel du Quercy Blanc (partie méridionale du Quercy), dont le nom vient des calcaires lacustres de l'ère tertiaire. Exposée à un climat océanique altéré, elle est arrosée principalement par l'Aveyron et a un patrimoine naturel important, un site Natura 2000 (les « vallées du Tarn, de l'Aveyron, du Viaur, de l'Agout et du Gijou »), un espace protégé (le « cours de la Garonne, de l'Aveyron, du Viaur et du Tarn ») et trois zones naturelles d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique.
