A little history
At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, a railway line connected Hondschoote to Bray-Dunes via Ghyvelde and Les Moëres. Bray-Dunes had two stations at that time, the gare de Bray-Dunes and the gare de Bray-Dunes Plage. Another railway line provided the link between Dunkerque and Bray-Dunes, towards the Belgian border and La Panne then Furnes. It passed through the stations of Rosendaël, Leffrinckoucke, Sanatorium-maritime-de-Zuydcoote (halt) and Zuydcoote.
