A little history
In the village of Kermaout, a covered alleyway survives, another at Kerjean, and near the village of Cosquériou-Saint-Cado, a buried dolmen. Another dolmen can be found at Kercoat in the grounds of the manoir du Quillio. An entrenched camp has been identified 500 metres to the north of Kerquillerm. The Roman road running from Quimperlé to Quimper passed to the south of Bannalec through the bourg of Trévoux, Pont Glaérès and l'Église Blanche, its route continuing via Le Moustoir en Kernével (the current D 22 for this section).
