The seigneurie de Hées belonged to the abbaye de Saint-Vaast. It extended from the porte Ronville to the Petit-Bapaume, thence via the Caumont, the rue du Pont de Hées, the river Crinchon as far as the Malvaux, returning to the Citadelle and the Promenades as far as the porte Pugniel.
