A little history
During archaeological excavations, a skeleton of a Palaeotherium, a kind of tapir, dating from the Tertiary era and preserved at the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle in Paris, and the remains of an Anoplothérium, a distant relative of the antelope, were found on the territory of the commune. Palaeolithic and Neolithic tools were found scattered across the territory of the commune, particularly around the Port à l'Anglais and in the Gournay quarries. Sites dating from the Bronze Age and the Iron Age were uncovered in the parc des Lilas.

Buying in Vitry-sur-Seine
Reading the €3,300 to €4,702 band is a buyer’s main tool in Vitry-sur-Seine. A property at the bottom is not a bargain and one at the top is not a rip-off, the band measures how different the properties are, not how well they are priced.
A stable market usually means a negotiation decided by the property itself rather than by any general trend.
Acquisition costs are budgeted on top of the price, around 8 % on an existing property, around 3 % on a new one. These are orders of magnitude; the notary computes the exact amount.
