A little history
Préhistoire À l'âge du bronze, des fondeurs de bronze s'installent le long du Rhône. On a retrouvé plusieurs de leurs dépôts entre Lyon et Vienne. À Vernaison en 1856 on a mis au jour un de ces dépôts, appelé trésor de Vernaison. Ce trésor, visible au musée gallo-romain de Fourvière à Lyon, est assez important, étant constitué de 13 haches, cinq poignards, 14 épingles, plusieurs faucilles et d'autres objets de cette époque.
