A little history
The commune was created on 1 January 2016 by a prefectoral order of 21 December 2015, through the merger of ten communes, under the legal framework of new communes established by law no 2010-1563 of 16 December 2010 on the reform of territorial authorities. The communes of Autheuil, Bivilliers, Bresolettes, Bubertré, Champs, Lignerolles, La Poterie-au-Perche, Prépotin, Randonnai and Tourouvre became delegated communes, and Tourouvre is the chief town of the new commune. The construction of the first solar road was completed in 2016. It was inaugurated by Ségolène Royal. In May 2024, seven years after their installation, the photovoltaic panels were removed.
