The commune possesses a remarkable natural heritage comprising one Natura 2000 site and two natural zones of ecological, faunal and floral interest.
A little history
Created by an order of the prefect of Indre-et-Loire dated 11 September 2017, it brings together the former communes of Tauxigny and Saint-Bauld with effect from 1 January 2018.
