A little history
The new commune project arose from the desire to merge 4 communes of the Haut Bocage vendéen, Les Châtelliers-Châteaumur, La Flocellière, La Pommeraie-sur-Sèvre and Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure. The prefectural order no 15-DRCTAJ/2-655 of 15 December 2015 created the commune on 1 January 2016.
