A little history
Essentially an agricultural village of 300 inhabitants until the end of the 1950s, Seichamps developed thanks to suburban-style urbanisation. In 2011, it entered a new phase of expansion, with the creation of a new housing estate that ultimately plans for the construction of around 500 dwellings to the east of the commune. This project was accompanied by a restructuring of the town centre in 2012.
