A little history
In 2006, during the construction of housing, excavations uncovered Mesolithic sites on the positions of former banks of the Selle. Numerous Gallo-Roman settlement areas and enclosures nested within one another were precisely located, in the hollow of the Selle, thus sheltered from the prevailing winds, by the aerial photographs of Roger Agache. At the lieu-dit mes Croquets, rectilinear fields adjoining a large Gallo-Roman farm were identified. At the Croix Jourdain, a pastoral enclosure and a funnel-shaped entrance were identified.
