A little history
From 1819, the villages of Roches-Prémarie and Andillé were grouped together into a single commune, with Andillé remaining the chef-lieu of the commune. By a deliberation of the municipal council dated 1st September 1904, it was decided that the commune would henceforth bear the name of Roches-Prémarie-Andillé and the chef-lieu of the commune was transferred to Roches-Prémarie. Since 1996, the inhabitants have borne the name of Rocprémaliens (liennes).
