A little history
The earliest burials and human skeletons found on the Presqu'île (and more precisely on the islet of Téviec) date from the Mesolithic period, around 5,000 years BC. During the period of the Armorican Neolithic, between 4,500 and 2,000 years BC, men erected megaliths, and menhirs, dolmens and covered walkways were built on Quiberon and its surroundings.
