The commune was created on 1 January 2016 by a prefectoral order of 28 December 2015, through the merger of three communes under the legal framework for new communes established by law no 2010-1563 of 16 December 2010 on the reform of local authorities. The communes of L'Épinay-le-Comte, Passais and Saint-Siméon became delegated communes and Passais is the administrative centre of the new commune.
