A little history
The place has been known since 676, under Thierry III. In 1848, a covered walkway was discovered at Marly at the lieu-dit le Mississipi, not far from the Tour aux Païens. This funerary monument was almost entirely destroyed shortly after it was uncovered. Its owner had the stones cut up in order to reuse them as building materials.

Buying in Marly-le-Roi
Reading the €3,150 to €4,246 band is a buyer’s main tool in Marly-le-Roi. A property at the bottom is not a bargain and one at the top is not a rip-off, the band measures how different the properties are, not how well they are priced.
A stable market usually means a negotiation decided by the property itself rather than by any general trend.
Acquisition costs are budgeted on top of the price, around 8 % on an existing property, around 3 % on a new one. These are orders of magnitude; the notary computes the exact amount.
