From the Palaeolithic period, people moved through the territory of La Crèche. Numerous bifaces were discovered at Boisragon. They were studied by Marcel Bizard and published in local historical journals. The Neolithic period, or "Age of Polished Stone", is also represented by flint and dolerite axes found in various locations.
