A little history
Seven socketed axes, incorrectly referred to as "Celtic axes" in the 19th century, were discovered near the hamlet of Brangolo before 1859 beneath the roots of an old chestnut tree. Three stelae dating from the Iron Age are found near the hamlet of Kerguer. Archaeology reveals across the territory of the commune a collection of sites with an agricultural purpose, dating from the Gaulish period (6th century BC and 5th century BC).
