A little history
A former Luxembourg village, ceded to Lorraine in 1602. An independent commune until 1810, Godbrange is today attached to the commune of Hussigny. In 1817, Hussigny, a village of the former province of Barrois, had as its annexes the village of Godbrange and the former hermitage of Saint-Nicolas. At that time there were approximately 330 inhabitants spread across 64 houses.
