A little history
Guéthenoc, the first lord of the vicomté de Porhoët, had the first family castle built at Guilliers around the year 1000, today known as Château-Trô. The seigneurie du Bois de la Roche (in Néant) extended[When?] its jurisdiction over the parishes of Néant, Campénéac, Guilliers, Mauron, Saint-Brieuc-de-Mauron and Tréhorenteuc, of which the châtelains du Bois de la Roche were founders and holders of pre-eminence.
