A little history
In 2019, during a housing development project, an area of 5,000 m² was the subject of preventive archaeological excavations carried out by the Inrap, making it possible to explore the medieval past of the commune between the 6th and 10th centuries of our era. The numerous ancient traces of earth and timber constructions, as well as traces of agropastoral and craft activities, such as ancient seeds, animal bones, forge slag and tools associated with weaving and woodworking, shed light on various aspects of the daily life of the village's inhabitants in the time of Charlemagne.
