A little history
Traces of two Gallo-Roman villas have been found on the territory of the commune of Combles. The parish of Combles was founded in the 11th century in a secluded spot in the forest of Arrouaise. In 1181, the abbaye du Mont Saint-Quentin and the chapter of the collegiate church of Saint-Fursy de Péronne disputed possession of Combles, which passed to the abbey. The seigneury of Combles was held by monsieur de Louvois, marquis de Sailly, and monsieur du Priez.
