A little history
The history of Cléguérec dates back to the late Neolithic period. A covered gallery more than 20 metres long was discovered at the lieu-dit of Bot-er-mohed, dating from 3,000 years before our era. Known as the "chambre des nains" (kambr an torriganed), it was in all likelihood a burial chamber. Another covered gallery, twelve metres long and called the "maison des nains" (Ti an torriganed), stands between the hamlets of Bot-er-Barz and Gouvello.
