A little history
The beginning of the 16th century in Labourd was marked by the appearance of the plague. Reading the Gascon registers allows its spread to be traced. After a period of remission, the disease reappeared. In 1598, the town council of Ciboure drew up numerous reports on la maladie quy court and la maladie de la peste.
