Bréhan [bʁeɑ̃] is a French commune, situated in the département of Morbihan in the region of Bretagne.
A little history
A dolmen existed near Pengamp, but it has disappeared, having probably been destroyed to provide stone for roads. Part of another survives in the lande de Saint-Yves. An entrenchment (a rectangular enclosure approximately 50 metres long and 40 metres wide), called by the inhabitants the "Camp de César", stands overlooking the Oust, in the south-eastern corner of the communal territory (according to Joseph-Marie Le Mené, pots filled with ashes, that is to say funerary urns, were found nearby around 1860, but were not preserved). Traces of two other Roman camps are found, one between Touches and Forville, and the other between Beauval and Coetquelan.
