A little history
It is on the territory of this commune that the château de Grosbois is found. In the 16th century, the seigneury of Boissy and Gros Bois belonged to Raoul Moreau, treasurer to King Henri II, who gave it as a dowry to his daughter Marie, wife of Nicolas de Harlay, baron de Sancy. The latter sold it to Charles de Valois, duc d'Angoulême, natural son of Charles IX and Marie Touchet. In 1789, Gros Bois belonged to the comte de Provence, brother of Louis XVI.

Selling in Boissy-Saint-Léger
Pricing in Boissy-Saint-Léger starts by placing your property inside the €2,383 to €3,866 band rather than on the median alone. The median describes the middle of the market; condition, floor, outdoor space and energy rating decide where in the band you sit.
With 127 sales a year, Boissy-Saint-Léger is regular without being deep. Positioning matters more here than in a dense market, because a buyer who steps back is not immediately replaced.
Briveo values your Boissy-Saint-Léger property from the same DVF file, keeping only sales of comparable properties closest to your address, free of charge and with no obligation, then supports the sale through to the deed.
Buying in Boissy-Saint-Léger
Reading the €2,383 to €3,866 band is a buyer’s main tool in Boissy-Saint-Léger. A property at the bottom is not a bargain and one at the top is not a rip-off, the band measures how different the properties are, not how well they are priced.
Acquisition costs are budgeted on top of the price, around 8 % on an existing property, around 3 % on a new one. These are orders of magnitude; the notary computes the exact amount.
Prices moving up narrow the room for negotiation without closing it, a property that has been on the market a long time is negotiable whatever the trend says.
