A little history
The allée couverte du Prieuré, eleven metres long, is an imposing megalithic monument. A menhir overlooks the ruisseau du Roffol (it is now in Saint-Barthélemy). An oppidum existed on the peninsula at the confluence of the Blavet and the Ével. A Bronze Age burial was discovered in 1974 at Kercorde. Numerous traces of small indigenous enclosure-shaped structures dating from the Iron Age can be detected in cultivated areas.
