A little history
Arnage was created in 1853, by decree of 4 June 1853, through the division of the communes of Moncé-en-Belin, Pont-Lieue and Spay. More than 280 inhabitants from Moncé, 230 from Pont-Lieue and 300 from Spay became residents of Arnage.
