Aragnouet [aʁaɲwɛt] is a French commune situated in the south of the département of Hautes-Pyrénées, in the region of Occitanie. From a historical and cultural standpoint, the commune lies within the Pays d'Aure, which is made up of the vallée de la Neste (downstream from Sarrancolin), the vallée d'Aure (upstream from Sarrancolin) and the vallée du Louron (confluent at Arreau). Exposed to a mountain climate, it is drained by various small watercourses.
