A little history
It was created by the prefectoral order of 3 August 2018, amended by that of 19 October 2018, with effect from 1 January 2019. The chef-lieu is located at Bussière-Poitevine. Following the decree of 5 March 2020, the new commune is entirely attached to the canton of Châteauponsac.
