Trélissac is a French commune in the eastern suburbs of Périgueux, situated in the département of Dordogne, in the région of Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
A little history
Occupation of the site during the Neolithic period and then during the Middle Ages was established in 2011 during archaeological excavations at the Borie Porte business park. The village is identified under the name of Traillissac on the carte de Cassini, representing France between 1756 and 1789. In the 19th century, the municipal buildings, situated in a wetland area, required numerous and costly repairs. From 1870 to 1874, a new village centre (church, presbytery, town hall, school, with their outbuildings and gardens) was then built on the other side of the route nationale 21, following a proposal by Alfred Magne and at his expense.
