Soues is a French commune situated in the centre of the département of Hautes-Pyrénées, in the Occitanie region. Exposed to an altered oceanic climate, it is drained by the Adour, the canal d'Alaric, the ruisseau de Layet and various other small watercourses.
A little history
On 15 April 1944, the Hispano-Suiza factory was sabotaged by a commando unit composed of FTPF members, members of the AS and of the CFP (Corps Franc Pommiès), all members of the French Resistance.
